Welcome new staff member Meghan Koven!

The Bucket Brigade and School Factory are thrilled to announce the addition of a new staff member!

On May 21, 2012, Meghan Koven joined the Bucket Brigade team as Operations Director. Meghan describes herself as a quick-witted task master, and she will be assessing organizational processes and implementing efficiency improvements to assist the Brigade in expanding its capacity.

Meghan will additionally be supporting behind-the-scenes operations for The School Factory, including processing donations and providing acknowledgement letters, and assisting with a variety of other operational tasks. One thing that will really help her best serve the Space Federation is determining basic information about all of its members. Please assist her by completing a quick questionnaire about your Space by Friday, June 8, 2012.

Before accepting her new position, Meghan served as Executive Director for ArtWorks for Milwaukee, Inc. for over 5 years. This nonprofit has been housed at Bucketworks for the past 2+ years, and she is well-versed in School Factory processes, the use of Atrium and is a big believer in communal work environments and collaboration.

Meghan's background is in Human Resources and Training & Development. She earned a masters degree in Organizational Development from Alverno College in 2006.

In her free time, Meghan volunteers on the Programming Committee of Ex Fabula, Milwaukee's storytelling organization, and is regularly at the dog park with her best girl, Carly.
